Butterscotch Brownies Written By: Shantel Whitford Prep Time: 25 minutes Cook Time: 35 minutes Print Recipe Ingredients 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder ½ cup flour ¼ tsp salt ¼ tsp baking powder 1 cup butterscotch chips Instructions Preheat oven to 350. Butter and flour an 8-inch baking pan. In a large saucepan, melt ½ cup of butter. Remove from heat, stir in sugar, eggs, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Beat in 1/3 cup cocoa, ½ cup flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir in butterscotch chips. Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Serves 12. There's no surprising the kids with these because they always smell them baking before they're done! The kids love to eat these warm out of the oven with some ice cream on top. These are easy to switch up, too. You can swap out the butterscotch for peanut butter chips, nuts, or chocolate chips. These are sure to please a crowd!
